Iowa Dentist Exonerated after 13 years!

Iowa Dentist Larry Hanus lost his dental license 13 years ago for telling his patients about the dangers of Mercury fillings. His loss of license was accompanied by an enormous amount of persecution for his views and an effort to discredit him as a professional and malign his character.

He has fought repeatedly over the last 13 years to have his license reinstated at great personal cost. This time, he was represented by Charlie Brown, a Washington, D.C. attorney and former state Attorney General of West Virginia, who is the national counsel for Consumers for Dental Choice. http://www.toxicteeth.org:80/ourTeam_People.cfm?n=charles

In a recent hearing with the IBDE, in which we testified on behalf of Larry, the Iowa Board of Dental Examiners ruled to re-instate Dr. Hanus's license, pending completion of a technical skills assessment at a nearby university and the completion of the national board exam. He also has to pay some fees and be on 5 years probation.
