Iowa Dentist Exonerated after 13 years!
Iowa Dentist
Larry Hanus lost his dental license 13 years ago for telling his
patients about the dangers of Mercury fillings. His loss of license was
accompanied by an enormous amount of persecution for his views and an
effort to discredit him as a professional and malign his character.
He has fought
repeatedly over the last 13 years to have his license reinstated at
great personal cost. This time, he was represented by Charlie Brown, a
Washington, D.C. attorney and former state Attorney General of West
Virginia, who is the national counsel for Consumers for Dental Choice.

In a recent hearing with the
IBDE, in which we testified on behalf of Larry, the Iowa Board of
Dental Examiners ruled to re-instate Dr. Hanus's license, pending
completion of a technical skills assessment at a nearby university and
the completion of the national board exam. He also has to pay some fees
and be on 5 years probation.

Mercury in any form – either as
water-soluble inorganic salt, a lipid-soluble
organic mercury compound, or as metallic mercury- is an extremely
potent neurological
toxin [23]. Organic mercury compounds such as methylmercury that are
fat-soluble and
readily cross the blood brain barrier are especially damaging to
developing nervous
tissues [24, 25]. For example, prenatal exposure as low as 10 mg/kg
methylmercury, as
measured in maternal hair growing during pregnancy, may adversely
affect the
development of the fetal brain [25, 26]. Confounding associations and
concerns with
various stages of brain development related to cumulative early life
exposure to mercury
include the following sources of mercury: maternal fish consumption
during pregnancy,
the thimerosal (sodium ethylmercurithiosalicylate, approximately 49%
mercury weight)
content of certain vaccines and dental amalgam [27].

HepB Causes MS
The Federal Vaccine Court just
ordered compensation for a woman who got the Heb-B series, developed a
type of MS, and died. So, according to the Court, HepB vaccine can
cause demyelization in the brain

Petitioner has prevailed on the
issue of entitlement. The medical records during
decedent's final hospitalization reflect that she died from
demyelinating disease. Not only did
decedent have a vaccine injury, but also her death was vaccine-related.
CONCLUSION
Petitioner is entitled to
reasonable compensation. The undersigned hopes that the parties
may reach an amicable settlement and will have a telephonic status
conference soon with the
parties to discuss further proceedings.
